Governor Jindal has thrown his support to Republican Congressman Bill Cassidy in December’s US Senate runoff against Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu. In the 5th Congressional District, the December 6th runoff will be between Republican family physician Ralph Abraham and Democratic Monroe Mayor Jamie Mayo. Tuesday’s primary had Abraham and Zach Dasher neck and neck for the Republican nod and the doctor says he feels it was experience that ultimately got the support of voters.
