State Police report an early morning single vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 4 in Franklin Parish has claimed the life of a mother and her 5 week-old child. Twenty-six year-old Jenna Johnson of West Monroe ran off the road, struck a ditch, and overturned he vehicle. Both mom and baby were ejected, as neither was properly restrained.
