It was a very impressive performance by LSU’s defense on Saturday as the Tigers held BYU to 97 total yards, negative five rushing yards in a 27-0 win over the Cougars. Last night was not a good night for former LSU defensive coordindator John Chavis, who is the D-C at Texas A-and-M. The Aggies were up by 34 points last night to UCLA, but the Bruins came back to win 45-44.

UL Lafayette got a nice peformance from quarterback Jordan Davis, who was 12 of 23 for 162 yards and a touchdown in his first career start as the Cajuns outscored Southeastern Louisiana 51-48. Head Coach Mark Hudspeth….

ULM is at Florida State this Saturday. The Seminoles will have a new starting quarterback as Deondre Francois is expected to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Louisiana Tech will welcome Mississippi State to Ruston this Saturday. The Bulldogs beat Northwestern State 52 to 24 on Saturday as Jarred Craft found the end zone three times.
