Polls across the state are seeing a steady stream of voters on this Election Day. Some of the voters we spoke with, said today is the day their voices get heard…:

There’s a large field of candidates vying for the 5th District Congressional seat. ULM Political Science Professor Joshua Stockley Democrat Monroe Mayor Jamie Mayo has the best chance to make the runoff. But who will face him is tough to say. He says Zach Dasher of Calhoun has a lot of momentum heading into election day…:

He says a lot of the polls show Dr. Ralph Abraham leading the way in today’s primary.

The man accused of killing two teenage girls in a Breaux Bridge pedestrian crash last week remains hospitalized and has only told detectives a few details about the fatal wreck. Eric Gill reports…:

Bama week has arrived for the 14th ranked LSU Tigers as they host the 4th ranked Crimson Tide this Saturday night in Death Valley. Coach Les Miles is 5-and-5 against Alabama during his time at LSU. Bama is seven and one on the season and once again have one of the best defenses in the SEC. Kickoff is set for 7pm.
