Baton Rouge Police are looking for a man from Ponchatoula accused of shooting and killing a 19-year-old woman. They say 20-year-old James Seymore is believed to have been playing with a hand gun in the back of a vehicle when it went off on accident and struck the victim, Briana Hornsby while she was driving. Seymore fled on foot and remains at large. Hornsby died from her injuries.

Opelousas Police say a man has been arrested in connection to the attack of an elderly man in a road rage incident. The 78-year-old broke his arm as the suspect beat him with the victim’s own cane. That’s according to Opelousas Chief Donald Thompson who says they would have never identified Joshua Babineaux if it weren’t for the help from the public…:

Babineaux is charged with aggravated second degree battery and simple battery of the infirm.

Confederate monuments should be replaced with statues of Britney Spears according to a Louisiana woman who has thousands of people that agree with her. Rayne native and petition creator, Kassie Thibodeaux, says the Change.org petition has over 4500 signatures and she hopes the governor notices…:
