The National Hurricane Center says Harvey has regenerated in the Gulf of Mexico and it’s possible it can develop into a hurricane before it reaches the Texas coast on Friday night. The official forecast has it making landfall as a strong tropical storm near Corpus Christi and then the center of Harvey will curve towards Louisiana, but stay in Southeast Texas through at least Monday morning.
