Saints and Pelicans owner Tom Benson’s Dixie Beer is hitting more areas of the Gulf Coast this week, as Baton Rouge and Lafayette will now start seeing the iconic Louisiana brew on shelves in stores. Almost the entire state is under a heat advisory through 7 this evening. The National Weather Service says some areas could see heat indices this afternoon topping 108-110 degrees. Forecasters indicate these levels are dangerous and if you’re going to be outside you should be sure to stay hydrated and find ways to stay cool if you can’t be inside for an extended period of time.
