Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Agent Tyler Wheeler is back at work after being shot four times while conducting a traffic stop in January. Wheeler says it’s been a long eight months, but he’s glad to be back in the field.

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting.
The state Department of Revenue is reminding some taxpayers to claim tax refunds before it’s too late. Spokesperson Byron Henderson says if the funds go unclaimed, they are handed over to the state treasurer’s office.

Henderson says the total amount of unclaimed refunds is 8.6 million dollars.
Saints cornerback Delvin Breaux will be out four to six weeks to have surgery on a broken leg. Sideline reporter Kristian Garic says two doctors were fired because the injury was misdiagnosed. He says team leaders reached a boiling point.
Cut 14 (14) “the Pelicans”
LSU announced today that a new tiger has arrived on campus, and he could possibly become Mike VII. The 11-month old tiger named Harvey arrived on campus August 15 and is currently being housed in the night house of the tiger habitat. Before he can become the school’s mascot, he has to be observed by LSU vets for one week to ensure he’s a good fit for LSU, but until he’s introduced he is not Mike VII.
