The state Department of Revenue is reminding some taxpayers that they have until September 6th to claim their tax refund. LDR Spokesperson Byron Henderson says if you miss the deadline, visit the State Treasurer’s Unclaimed Property website for more information. He says there are many reasons why these checks have remained unclaimed.

Rumors were going around this week that the Saints were shopping Breaux for a trade due to injury problems.

A Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agent is back at work after being shot in the line of duty in January. Twenty-five-year-old Tyler Wheeler of Monroe was shot four times in Morehouse Parish while conducting a traffic stop. Wheeler says doctors told him he recovered extremely fast given his injuries.
