There were some positives. The first-team defense did not allow a first down in the three series they were on the field. Rookie running back Alvin Kamara also had a nice debut, with four carries for 34 yards.

LSU Head Coach Ed Orgeron and the players have been raving about the freshmen class during preseason camp. Cornerback Donte Jackson says the freshmen linebackers are impressive, Jacob Phillips, Patrick Queen and Tyler Taylor from Georgia….

Viator is entering his second season as the Warhawks head coach and looking to improve on a four-win season in 2016.

The NBA season will be here before you know it. The full 82-game schedule should be out soon. We do know the Pelicans will host the defending NBA champs on October 20th at the Smoothie King Center. The game will be shown on ESPN as part of the network’s opening week of televised games.
