Discount carrier Frontier Airlines says they are adding direct flights from New Orleans to four other cities beginning in October. They are non-stop service from Louis Armstrong International to San Antonio, Austin-Bergstrom, Long Island, and Providence. The Denver based airline also says they are offering one-way fares on some flights starting at $39 for a limited time.
Tulane University is the latest Louisiana school to trademark its own brew, after partnering with NOLA Brewing Company to release the Green Wave Beer. Brewery president Kirk Coco says the new brew is a filtered version of a Heffeweizen, a dry, wheat beer with a little bitterness. He says this Kristalweizen is similar without all the floating yeast..:

Shreveport is the 10th most stressed city out of 150 metropolitan areas throughout the nation surveyed by WalletHub. The spokesperson for the personal finance website, Jill Gonzales, says 70 percent of people in Shreveport said they haven’t worked out in the last month which can cause stress, and people in the city have more anxiety at work…:
