A 73-year-old Slidell man is recovering after he was beaten by two young men in what authorities are describing as a road rage incident. Slidell Police spokesperson Daniel Seuzeneau says one of the two suspects, 19-year-old Brett McCraney, said the elderly man nearly hit them as they were crossing the road, so a shouting match started and the victim pulled his car over…

A federal lawsuit has been filed against several leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement claiming they had a role in the deadly attack on Baton Rouge Police officers last July. Attorneys representing one of the wounded officers filed the suit. It says that the protests following the Alton Sterling Shooting sparked Gavin Long’s deadly attack.
