Authorities in Tangipahoa Parish saya two-year-old child found unresponsive in a swimming pool in Ponchatoula is in critical condition. Farmers and reachers impacted by last year’s floods could be eligible for for recovery grants made possible by the federal government. Agriculture Commissioner Mike Strain says the floods caused more than 100-million in dollars agriculture losses and this something his office has worked for since the floods.
