We may learn more from the US Senate candidates tonight in the final debate before Election Day. Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu will face off with Republican challengers Congressman Bill Cassidy and retired Air Force Colonel Rob Maness in debate that will be on TV live starting at 7pm.

Weekend temperatures across the state are expected to be the coolest so far this season. A cold front is moving across the state today, but Chris Nuttall, with the National Weather Service in Shreveport, says not to expect cooler temperatures just yet…:

Friday overnight lows are expected to drop into the 40s across most of the state, with some locations possibly seeing low temps in the 30s.

The Louisiana Lottery says nobody hit the Mega Millions jackpot last night. Friday’s drawing now goes to $284 million with a cash option of $172 million.
