The American Automobile Association says gas prices in Louisiana are the lowest they’ve been in four years. AAA fuel analyst Don Redman says the current statewide average for a gallon of regular is $2.88. He says you can blame supply and demand…:

School officials are working to repair the grass after fans stormed the field in Tiger Stadium on Saturday night. Assistant Sports Turf Manager Hunter Sexton says the damage wasn’t nearly as bad as they thought it would be but the biggest issue was people using keys and pocket knives to cut out sections of the field as a souvenir…:

A man from Marrero is under arrest accused of cockfighting and abusing 44 chickens according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s office. They say 76-year-old Armando Alvarez was housing over forty caged birds standing in waste including 40 roosters with scars. Alvarez was booked with one count of cockfighting, 44 counts of cruelty to animals and 40 aggravated cruelty to animals.
