We’re seven days away from the November 4th election and the continuing debate is who would be the better person to serve as Louisiana Senator, Republican Congressman Bill Cassidy or Democrat incumbent Senator Mary Landrieu. Michelle Southern reports.

Early voting for next Tuesday’s election concludes today. Voters can cast their early ballot until 6PM. It is a lengthy ballot that includes 14 Constitutional Amendments. For a sample ballot and early voting locations in your area, you can go online to geauxvote-dot-com.

There are two new commercials featuring Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson endorsing his nephew, Zach Dasher, in the 5th Congressional District race. ULM Political Science Professor Joshua Stockley says these ads certainly won’t hurt Dasher in the race because a lot of people still don’t know who he is…

Stockley says this is a close race and it’s hard to tell if these commercials, which will reportedly run through election day, will give Dasher a boost.

There’s another huge Mega Millions jackpot tonight with a $252 million dollar grand prize. Louisiana Lottery spokeswoman Kimberly Chopin says neither Mega Millions or Powerball was hit over the weekend. She says the cash value of the one-dollar Mega Millions ticket is massive…
