But the governor’s office says under the House plan higher ed wouldn’t be fully funded and other difficult cuts would be made.

After lawmakers failed to pass a budget or tax reform bills in the fiscal session, some blame the Republican-dominated money committees. Minden Representative Gene Reynolds says the House is about 60 percent Republican and 40 percent Democrat, and they’d like to see more balanced representation in Appropriations and Ways and Means…:
