The House and Senate couldn’t come to an agreement on a budget before the regular session ended at 6. Governor Edwards says both sides are going to have to give a little to come up with a solution…:

A teen in Union Parish is dead following what authorities call a tragic accidental shooting. They say deputies responded around 1pm Thursday afternoon to a location where they found a 14-year-old boy in the woods target shooting with an older sibling when he was shot once in the head. Investigators believe a .22-caliber rifle caused the wound.
