The Hammond Police Department says they are searching for two people accused of trying to sell a young girl at a gas station this morning. They say a 911 call came in with a woman saying she was at the Race Track and a man and woman were going around asking people if they wanted to buy the girl who appeared to be about 10 years old. Cops are looking for a dark blue dodge van with license plate BSXR89.

Tomorrow will be the biggest day of the season on the LSU campus as 3rd ranked, undefeated Ole Miss comes to town. Parking Director Adam Smith says they want fans to come early and enjoy ESPN’s College GameDay which starts at 8am. He says they know some fans find the contraflow on Nicholson inconvenient, but the postgame plan will be the same:

Kickoff for the LSU-Ole Miss game is scheduled for 6:15pm and the game will be televised on ESPN.
