Blake lawmakers in Mississippi want a state representative there to resign for saying Louisiana leaders should be “lynched” for removing confederate monuments. Representative Karl Oliver apologized Monday over the Facebook post and was also stripped of his vice chairmanship of a House committee. But the Mississippi Legislative Black Caucus is demanding the resignation of Oliver, who is white.
