The former mayor of Sorrento has been arrested on 40 counts of possessing child porn, and obstruction of justice for attempting to hide the evidence. The Attorney General’s office says forty-one year old Wilson Longanecker was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail, and could face up to five years in prison for each count. Longanecker was the mayor of Sorrento from 2011 until last year.
