The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office has identified they teen they believe stabbed her 47-year-old boyfriend to death in North Louisiana. They say 17-year-old Ronnie Francis is originally from New Orleans but had been living with the victim, Melvin Peterson, in Dubach for 3 months. Francis is charged with Manslaughter and is currently being held in the Lincoln Parish Detention Center.
UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation is seeking financial assistance applications from families with children that have medical needs not covered or not fully covered by their commercial health insurance.
