With two weeks to go before the legislative session, Governor John Bel Edwards has yet to roll out his tax reform plans. LaPolitics.com publisher Jeremy Alford says many were surprised when they recently learned the governor is moving away from the idea of tweaking the individual income tax. The governor’s spokesperson says that Edwards is postponing the release of his tax plan to the public until Wednesday when he has more information from the state’s revenue secretary.
