A language interpreter from the Terrebonne Parish Office of the Public Defender is in jail for allegedly taking money from some defendents, telling them she would use that money to bribe the US Imigration Services to help them on their illegal immigrant charges. The suspect is 42 year-old Edwin Chastang, and he is charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile and also computer aided solicitation of a minor. He’s been suspended with pay from the school.
