Who do you think was the “winner” in last night’s US-Senate debate..and was there a loser? LSU Political Science Professor Robert Hogan says a lot of people were focusing on Congressman Bill Cassidy’s performance because it was his first debate with Senator Mary Landrieu and Col Rob Maness…:

The next debate will held one week before the November 4th election.

Gas prices are being nice to our wallets these days. The current statewide average for a gallon of regular in Louisiana is $3.03 which is down nearly a dime from this time last week.

A trial date has been tentatively scheduled for the two suspects who are accused in the dismemberment case of the Bourbon Street dancer in 2012. 41-year-old Terry Speaks arrived in New Orleans this morning from New York where he was serving time for another crime. 30-year-old Margaret Sanchez is also charged with the murder. A trial date is scheduled January 12th but prosecutors did not indicate which suspect will be first.
