A special session will in fact take place next month so lawmakers can get together and decide how to close a $304 million dollar budget shortfall. The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival lineup for 2017 has been announced. Returning to the Fair Grounds Race Course this year will be Stevie Wonder and Tom Petty, with other headliners including Maroon 5, Snoop Dogg, Pitbull and Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds. Jazzfest will be held April 28-30 and May 4-7.
