Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell wants to make sure the burned items that belonged to the Dallas Ebola victim stay out of Louisiana. Caldwell’s office plans to file a temporary restraining order to keep the Ebola waste out of Louisiana, after learning that it was going to be disposed in a Calcasieu Parish landfill…

The landfill owned by Chemical Waste Company has released a statement saying they will not accept the controversial ash until Louisiana state officials are okay with it.

Power is out and trees are down across north Louisiana as a result of a strong line of thunderstorms moving through the state. Marty Mayeaux (My-you) with the National Weather Service in Shreveport says they are receiving a lot of damage reports in Ouachita Parish and damage survey teams will look to see if its’ the result of tornado…

South Louisiana could see some severe weather as well. There’s a tornado watch in effect until 7 PM for the Lake Charles and Lafayette areas.

Arizona Senator John McCain is joining Congressman Bill Cassidy on the campaign trail today. The two will hold veterans’ rallies in Lafayette and Bossier City this afternoon.
