A ten-month-old Pleasant Hill girl is recovering at a Shreveport hospital after she spent nearly three days under her dead father’s body. Sabine Parish Deputy Coroner Ron Rivers says 43-year-old Jason Fields suffered a massive heart attack in his bedroom and fell back on top of the infant, who was resting on the bed. The coroner believes the heart attack was so severe that Fields was dead before he fell back on the child…

He says there was a five-year-old child also in the home, but it took him three days to alert a neighbor about what happened. Rivers says at last report, the infant is doing okay.
