An LSU student has died after being hit by a train in Tuscaloosa. Authorities say 20-year-old Katie Keough was struck by a train on railroad track behind a dorm at the University of Alabama around 11:30 last night. Keough was reportedly crossing the tracks on foot as the train approached, and witnesses performed CPR until EMS arrived at the scene.
