It’s game day! And before an afternoon of college football playoff action, LSU takes on Louisville this morning in the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl. This will be Steve Ensminger’s final game in the interim offensive coordinator role for the Tigers, as Matt Canada officially takes over the job tomorrow. LSU sideline reporter Gordy Rush says the obvious difference you see with LSU’s offense under Ensminger’s leadership is that he forced defenses to protect the whole field…:

The Tigers kickoff against the Cardnials in Orlando at 10am on ABC.
The 2016 College Football Playoffs then begin with Alabama kicking off Against Washington at 2pm in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta. Then Ohio State takes on Clemson in Arizona at 6.
It’s now four in a row for the Pelicans as Anthony Davis put on another stellar performance, scoring a team high 23 points and grabbing 18 rebounds in a 104-92 victory over The Knicks. The win improves the Pels to 14 and 21 on the season.
The 2016 season will be in the books for the Saints tomorrow following a contest against the Falcons in Atlanta. Mark Ingram is poised to hit the 1,000 yard rushing mark on the year, but the New Orleans running back says he’s just hoping to go out big either way…:

In the 2016 Louisiana Sports Writers Association Honors, the state’s four bowl teams landed the top awards. LSU, UL-Lafayette, Louisiana Tech and Grambling are all on this year’s All-Louisiana College football team.
