A Houma substitute teacher has been arrested for allegedly having sex with teenagers. Police say they received a report about sexual misconduct between 30-year-old Heidi Verret and three students. The investigation found that Verret was having inappropriate conversations with a 12-year-old on social media. Detectives say they later found that Verret had sex with three teenagers at her home over the course of several months. She faces one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile and three counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
