LSU looks to have nailed down a quarterback. Myles Brennan out of Mississippi said Thursday that he wasn’t talking to other schools because he plans to sign with the Tigers. Brennan is the 10th ranked pro-style quarterback in the nation.

The Pelicans had a late surge Thursday and were lifted to a 102-95 win over the Pacers in the Smoothie King Center. New Orleans saw its first production of the season from guard Tyreke Evans who played 11 minutes in his return from a right knee injury. He had 7 points, three rebounds and two assists. The Pels face the Rockets tonight in Houston.
