A father is booked into East Baton Rouge Parish prison on negligent homicide charges amid allegations he caused the death of his 4-year-old son as the two were “play fighting.” Cops say a witness advised they observed 25-year-old Kristopher Carter punching the toddler and encouraging him to punch back. The death was ruled a homicide because the child died from blunt force trauma to his small bowel.
