The Baton Rouge Advocate is reporting LSU head football coach Ed Orgeron will be paid a lump sum of $675,000 for serving as Tigers interim coach. They previously reported that as the permanent LSU coach, Coach “O” will make about $3.5 million per year under a five-year contract.

The football world is mourning the death of Joe McKnight, who was fatally shot in what authorities believe was a road rage incident in Jefferson Parish. McKnight was one of the top high school football players in the country coming out of John Curtis High School in 2006.
