Authorities say a Baton Rouge college student brutally murdered and dimembered his parents in Tennessee during the Thanksgiving Day weekend. Knox County Sheriff Major Michael MaClean says they believe 29-year-old Joel Michael Guy Junior turned violent during an argument about money….

MaClean says the victim’s body parts were placed in acid solution in an attempt to cover up the crime. Guy was arrested in Baton Rouge.

A Bossier Parish foster parent has been arrested on three counts of first-degree rape. Lt. Bill Davis, with the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s office, says 51-year-old Terral Parfait’s victims were young children under his foster care and there could be more victims and encourage others who may know something to come forward…

The Feral Hog Management Task Force met today to discuss ways to control the wild hog population in Louisiana. State Wildlife and Fisheries Veterinarian Dr. Jim LaCour says the hogs continue to be a major problem…:
