State Police say a man wanted in connection with the murder of his girlfriend in Baton Rouge was killed in a shootout with with deputies last night. Col Mike Edmonson says 48-year-old Terrell Walker allegedly shot his girlfriend in a vehicle then dumped her into the street before he fled. Edmonson says a manhunt then began..:

30-year-old April Peck is identified as the victim. State Police is handling the officer involved shooting investigation.

Officials with the Louisiana Lottery say the big $420 million dollar Powerball jackpot was hit in Tennessee by 1 ticket. The prize now goes back down to $40 million dollars for Wednesday’s drawing.
