New Orleans Police are investigating an apparent double murder suicide that occurred in the Bywater early this morning. Authorities say three people were found dead inside the home on Pauline Street. They believe a 55-year-old man shot and killed his 58-year-old brother and 60-year-old sister before shooting himself. The identities of the victims have not been released.

The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s office says a woman is under arrest on animal cruelty charges for allegedly trying to throw puppies away. Lt. Tommy Carnline says they have no idea why 31-year-old Christie Lasyone of Ball was trying to dump the puppies but she was arrested and charged with three counts of cruelty to animals…
