Public Service Commissioner Foster Campbell is asking for answers from SWEPCO concerning their ability to deal with widespread outages during severe weather. Campbell says recent outages in northwest Louisiana have him troubled especially with winter right around the corner…:

Campbell plans to request the authority to conduct a thorough investigation of SWEPCO’s ability to provide electricity during bad weather.

Governor Bobby Jindal is speaking at this hour at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington DC as he continues to make appearances across the country. The talk today is about the rebuilding of the United States military strength and he plans to give a similar speech tomorrow at The Citadel in South Carolina. As for whether or not he plans to run for President in 2016 Jindal says he won’t make an announcement until after the November elections.
