Auditors said they found questionable spending within LDWF under the previous administration, including using Gulf oil spill money on things like unnecessary iPads and cameras.

The man accused of fatally stabbing a young woman who managed a Raising Cane’s restaurant in Kenner in June, pleaded not guilty Monday. 23-year-old Joshua Every is charged with first-degree murder, as well as armed robbery, false imprisonment with a deadly weapon and witness intimidation in the murder case of 21-year-old Taylor Friloux.
