Saints cornerback Delvin Breaux continues to make progress as he tries to return from a broken fibula that he suffered in the season opening loss to the Raiders. Breaux told reporters today that he’s 90-percent healthy. But he remains limited at practice. Saints offensive tackle Terron Armstead also did not practice today, because of a knee injury. New Orleans hosts Seattle on Sunday.

The LSU Tigers are wrapping up a week of open date practices. They’ll return on Monday to really being preparations for top ranked Alabama. The Crimson Tide has the top ranked offense in the SEC as they are averaging nearly 500 total yards a game and 44 points a contest. ULM Redshirt freshman Will Collins failed to complete a pass in seven attempts in last week’s loss to New Mexico. Caleb Evans played much better as he was 12 of 15 for 120 yards, a touchdown and an interception. But Warhawks Head Coach Matt Viator says as of now Collins will start at QB versus Arkansas State on Saturday…

ULM is a 20 point under dog this Saturday, while Louisiana Tech is a four touchdown favorite to beat Rice on Saturday.

Pelicans Star Anthony Davis scored 50 points last night, but it was not enough to help New Orleans get a win on opening night as the Birds lost to Denver 107-102. It was not a good game for rookie Buddy Hield, who had just four points on two of eight shooting. The Pels next game is Friday against Golden State.
