A tragic fire in Vermilion Parish claimed the lives of two young children and the woman who tried to save them. State Fire Marshal’s Office spokesman Brant Thompson says the blaze broke out Sunday morning. And that’s when the mother inside the residence awoke to the smell of smoke…:
