LSU running back Leonard Fournette said he’s not 100-percent an ankle injury, but you would never know it, by how he ran the ball in Saturday’s 38-21 win over Ole Miss. In other action on Saturday, Louisiana Tech won its fourth straight as the Bulldogs defeated FIU 44-24. New Mexico clobbered ULM 59-17, Elijah McGuire rushed for two touchdowns and 112 yards as the Cajuns defeated Texas State 27-3. Tulsa easiliy defeated Tulane 50-27.

The Saints simply made too many mistakes in order to win on the road yesterday as the Black and Gold lost to Kansas City 27-21. New Orleans was penalized 10 times and had two critical turnovers. Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium is one of the toughest venues to play in the NFL for opposing teams. The crowd seemed to affect the Saints, but Payton says it’s not the reason why they lost…

The Pelicans tip-off a new season on Wednesday night when they host the Denver Nuggets. The team announced today that is releasing Along Gee and keeping Lance Stephenson. Stephenson averaged seven points a game in the preseason.
