There are four announced candidates for the Louisiana Governor’s race, and all four- Senator David Vitter, Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne, Amite Representative John Bel Edwards and PSC member Scott Angelle-are all from south Louisiana. Jeremy Alford with la-politics-dot- com, says there are votes in North Louisiana to be had.

Two enlisted Louisiana Army National Guards men are being indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedy stealing $30 thousand dollars in recruiting bonuses. Forty-five year-old Pablo E. Paz of News Orleans and 29 year-old Ramon Madrid of Kenner are charged with identity theft and conspiracy to commit theft of government funds.
