Louisiana’s Secretary of State Tom Schedler is assuring voters the November eighth election will go off without a hitch. There’s been rumors the Russians will hack into the system and alter votes. But Schedler says that’s impossible since voting machines are not connected to the internet…

Schedler also talks down accusations that the election is rigged.

Governor John Bel Edwards says he’s willing to make changes to the state’s film tax credit program, but he’s not interested in raising the 180-million dollar cap. But Edwards says he’ll work with legislators next year to make sure the program is sustainable for years to come…

The state’s film industry has seen a downturn since cap was put in place in 2015.

It’s an exciting day for Louisiana travelers looking to go overseas, as British Airways announces there will be non-stop flights from New Orleans to London. Senior Vice President Simon Brooks says the flights will leave out four times a week beginning March 27, 2017. He says they are delighted to connect these two iconic cities….
