LSU is not heading to Florida to play the Gators this Saturday and there’s a good chance the game will never be played. Jeff Palermo has the story…:

In prep action last night, Ouachita Christian shut out Sterlington 35-0.
Jennings was over Iota 50-26. DeRidder beat Crowley 28-7. Berwick got by Patterson 42-35. Holy Savior Menard beat Rosepine 49-8. Tonight the big game is Benton versus Minden. Benton won last year 41-34.

Louisiana Tech and pulled out am incredible win last night over Western Kentucky in grand fashion. The Bulldogs needed a victory badly. Western Kentucky trailed by 21 at the start of the fourth and the Hilltoppers nearly came back, but the Bulldogs recovered a fumble to get the 55-52 win. Quarterback Ryan Higgins says they had confidence in their D the entire time..:

Stephen F Austin is at Nicholls State. Idaho is at ULM. Kentucky Wesleyan is at Northwestern State. McNeese State is at Southeastern.

The Saints do not have a game this Sunday, but they are making some news. The team has released cornerback Brian Dixon and re-signed offensive lineman Kahlif Barnes.
