Former LSU football coach Les Miles said he’s feeling good one day after his firing. Miles was a guest this morning on the “Dan Patrick Show on DirecTV’s Audience.” Miles says he was told of his firing during a face-to-face meeting with Athletic Director Joe Alleva and the Tigers former head man said he didn’t fight the decision…:

Baton rouge Police are investigating a fatal crash that took the life of a driver and ejected a small child from the vehicle before it burst into flames. They say it happened last night as a Cadillac Deville entered the lane of another vehicle and struck it on Airline Highway. The Cadillac, driven by 24-year-old Ronald Dunn, then crashed and rolled throwing the small child from the vehicle. Dunn died, but the child is in stable condition. The crash remains under investigation.

Tonight is the first one on one presidential debate between candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Emelie Gunn has more on what to expect:

A man who was convicted in August of second degree murder in the death of his wife in 1962 has been sentenced to life in prison. A jury found Felix Vail guilty of killing Mary Horton Vail and trying to make it look like a drowning accident on the Calcasieu River.
