LSU’s Pennington Biomedical Research Center is conducting a study for the Department of Defense that seeks to improve soldiers endurance during physically demanding low calorie missions. The shelter at the Baton Rouge River Center closes today. Red Cross spokesperson Vicki Eichstaedt says the over 350 flood victims who are still in the shelter will be moved to another location in Baton Rouge. Eichstaedt says the Red Cross is redoubling their efforts to make sure no one is forgotten….
