We might find out more today about Louisiana’s controversial abortion doctor admitting privalges law. It’s been put on hold but today a judge will hear how the application process is going for those doctors at nearby hospitals. Center for Reproductive Rights attorney, Janet Crepps, says doctors they represent haven’t made any progress and she expects the ruling today will be that legal abortions can continue…:

The American Pet Products Association says Americans are spending 5% more on their furry friends this year over last year. President and CEO Bob Vetere (Va-Teery) people are “humanizing” their pets and you can date it back to the recession times…:

The Louisiana Association of Educators has filed a lawsuit challenging the legality of using public school budget money to fund certain types of charter schools. Eric Gill reports…:

True freshman Brandon Harris is the new starting QB at LSU. Coach Les Miles says Harris deserves a chance to start this Saturday against fifth ranked Auburn after leading the Tigers on seven consecutive touchdown drives against New Mexico State.
