Haywood is charged with planting a hoax device and attempted armed robbery but David says more charges and more arrests are possible.

According to the Annie B. Casey Foundation’s Kids Count Data Book, Louisiana ranks among the worst in the country in terms of the well-being of children. The Bayou State ranks 47th among all states and the District of Columbia. The report contributes Louisiana’s poor showing to children who live in poverty and single parent homes whose situation deteriorated from previous reports.

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office says they’ve arrested a Golden Meadow Police officer in connection with a methamphetamine investigation. Spokesman Brennan Matherne says they began conducting this investigation in April…
