State Police are investigating a couple of different shooting deaths involving sheriff’s deputies in different parishes; first in Terrebonne Parish following the alleged shooting of 14 year-old Cameron Tillman. Sheriff Jerry Larpenter said they got a call about armed men entering a house in Houma in a suspected drug area..

The other state police investigation is in Beauregard Parish, where a man was shot and killed during a pursuit where he allegedly tried to run over sheriff’s deputies with his vehicle following a domestic dispute. Twenty-five year old Jacob Navarre died at the scene; and an unidentified deputy was injured in the incident…

U.S. Senator David Vitter is reacting to the reported news of U.S.Attorney General Eric Holder resigning, and his words are not exactly complimentary. In a statement released today, Vitter said that he couldn’t think of any AG in history who has attacked Louisiana more than Holder.
